Position Overview :
Join the growing team at our world-class train manufacturing facility in Lexington, North Carolina. Siemens Mobility, Rolling Stock Division is the North American market leader in the production of passenger locomotives and coaches, and light rail vehicles.As a Production Welder I, you will support a broad range of welding, alignment, and assembly activities in a dynamic, high-energy production environment in the fabrication of carbon steel and stainless-steel car bodies for the best rail vehicles in the world.
What your day-to-day will look like :
- Duties may consist of, but not limited to, working from production blueprints, parts lists, sketches and verbal instructions to perform electronic or manual welding production, as well as standard and repetitive assembly operations.
- Build up and assemble routine welded units such as subassemblies and mounts parts.
- Make visual inspections and established quality checks.
