Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and leading engaging recreational programs for residents
- Facilitate resident activities in both group settings and individual interactions
- Foster teamwork and open communication to support meaningful resident connections
- Use creativity and problem-solving skills to manage tasks and coordinate events efficiently
- Provide positive, life-enriching experiences that align with our values of Care, Trust, and Respect
- Must be comfortable around smoke as we take residents out on smoke breaks
- Experience with older adults in a long-term care or similar setting
- Patience and empathy to work with residents at varying levels of care
- Comfortable reading aloud to groups; background in art or music is a plus
