Position Title: Senior System/Server Administrator
Location: Remote with travel to DISA San Antonio Data Center (San Antonio, TX), DISA Oklahoma City Data Center (Oklahoma City, OK)
Position Description: We are seeking a Senior System/Server Administrator to support NAFCPS customers, either remotely or at designated DISA Data Centers. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software, managing user access, monitoring system performance, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance infrastructure efficiency. Travel to CONUS locations, including military bases and Government installations, may be required.

Key Responsibilities
- Program Management, Performance Analysis, and Reporting
- Installing, Configuring, and Maintaining Server Hardware and Software
- Managing User Account Permissions and Access Control
- Monitoring System Performance and Troubleshooting Issues
- Performing Regular Backups and Disaster Recovery Planning
- Updating and Patching Software
- Security Administration and Compliance (STIGs, Data Encryption, Access Controls)
- Supporting Application Administration
- Providing Training and Documentation
- Experience:
- Strong expertise in IBM iSeries Servers
- Proficiency in COBOL and software development lifecycle
- Experience in configuration management, version control, and testing
- Knowledge of DB migrations and cryptographic security measures
- Understanding of tape management and encryption of data at risk
- Familiarity with i Access Client Solutions, Navigator i, and IBM Syslog Reporting Manager
- Experience with IBM Digital Certificate Manager and IBM Navigator
- Working knowledge of Java and file exchange protocols
- Knowledge of Implementation Activities and Requirements Testing Documentation
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Experience working with Government IT infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
