Job Summary
As a Private Practice Social Worker at Sieradzki & Associates you will provide high-quality counseling and therapy services to a diverse client base. You will develop treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and support clients in their healing journey. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will manage some of the business aspects of your independent practice, including creating your schedule. This position offers the flexibility to work in a supportive environment while maintaining a work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Intake & Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess clients' needs, presenting issues, and personal histories.
- Treatment Planning:
Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each client's needs and desired outcomes.
- Therapy Sessions:
Provide individual or couples therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and other evidence-based techniques.
- Clinical Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing documentation, in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Current licensure as a Limited Licensed Social Worker (LLMSW) or fully Licensed Social Worker (LMSW)
- Experience providing individual and/or group therapy
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialization in trauma-informed therapy, substance abuse treatment, child/adolescent therapy, relationship counseling, or anxiety/depression treatment
