Hotel Attendant / Front Office - Housekeeper
Job Summary:
We are Sierra Blue Suites, located in beautiful Big Bear Lake, California, and we are looking for a Hotel Attendant to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. Hotel Attendant responsibilities includes from Front Office and Housekeeping. You will address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. You will also assist guests to check-in and check-out as well as respond to guests inquiries and concerns.

We offer a seasonal pay bonus from the day of start until the President's day on February 19.
Responsibilities
- Change bed linen and make beds
- Replace used towels
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets
- Dust furniture
- Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
- Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar
- Clean public areas, like corridors
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
- Help guests retrieve lost items
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
- Follow hotel security guidelines
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
- Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures according to hotel standards.
- Maintain Front Office computer system operation according to hotel standards.
- Handle and follow through on all guest requests daily.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures according to hotel standards.
- Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standard.
- Complete any reports as requested by management in a timely manner.
Skills
- Work experience as a Room Attendant or Front Office
- Good physical health and stamina
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma is a plus
