Title :- Cybersecurity SIEM Engineer
Location :- Minneapolis, MN
Contract
Role Description: SIEM Platform Management: Oversee and manage the Securonix SIEM platform, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively. Configure, deploy, and tune Securonix solutions to detect and respond to security events. Develop and maintain security rules, dashboards, and reports within the Securonix platform.. Work with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to triage and escalate incidents. Implement automated responses and workflows in Securonix to improve incident handling times. Log Management & Integration: Integrate a variety of security data sources, such as network logs, system logs, and threat intelligence feeds, into the SIEM platform. Ensure log management (SumoLogic) policies are in place to meet regulatory and organizational security standards. Implement new data sources and integrate them into the SIEM for better visibility. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with internal stakeholders to assess security needs and provide guidance on security event monitoring. Prepare and present security reports to senior leadership detailing findings, trends, and potential risks.

Essential Skills: As a Securonix SIEM Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the Securonix SIEM . The role will require you to collaborate with IT, security operations, and incident response teams to ensure the organizations information security systems are robust and responsive to emerging cyber threats. In-depth knowledge of Securonix SIEM or other SIEM platforms like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight. Familiarity with security protocols, systems, and IT infrastructure (firewalls, proxies, IDSIPS, endpoint security). understanding of log analysis, event correlation, and security monitoring techniques. Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex security issues and determine root causes quickly. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills: Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Securonix SIEM or other SIEM platforms like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
