Description :

Summary : To process all collateral protection insurance for consumer and real estate loans. To process all loan protection, GAP and MBP claims as well as credit disputes.

Primary Responsibilities :

1. Process all collateral protection insurance (CPI) for consumer loans.

2. Process incoming total losses from start to finish.

3. Review Kelly Blue Book values and determine an appropriate settlement.

4. Process Letter Of Guarantee requests and title releases.

5. Post all applicable CPI premiums, refunds, and interest adjustments on loans as needed.

6. Work with the members and branch staff to obtain members’ proof of insurance.

7. Process all Trustage loan protection claims and payments.

8. Process all Lender’s Protection claims and payments.

9. Balance all GL’s associated accurately and efficiently per the required schedule.

10. Process all GAP and MBP policies and claims.

11. Process all incoming mail for insurance policies and insurance checks.

12. Complete all credit disputes according to timelines, rules and regulations.

13. The ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends.

14. Collect on total loss deficiency balances.

15. Additional duties as assigned.

Essential Functions :

1. Ability to speak and present in an effective manner.

2. Ability to communicate on the telephone as well as in person and in correspondence.

3. Must be able to perform the following functions :

  • Continuous sitting or standing for 7 hours per day
  • Intermittent bending and walking for 1 hour per day
  • Must be able to perform light work lifting, carrying and / or pushing objects up to 25 pounds.

4. Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.

5. Must be able to process a high volume of paperwork accurately and efficiently.

6. Must at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and leadership Team.

Requirements : Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required

2. Must be able to process a high volume of paperwork accurately and efficiently.

3. Must be organized and detail oriented.

4. Ability to deal with a large volume of paperwork accurately and efficiently.

5. Must be proficient with Excel and Word. Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.

7. Prior financial institution experience preferred.

8. Prefer experience in servicing all type of defaulted consumer loans.

9. Willing to work a flexible schedule
