SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION :
The CAM Engineer, Trainee is responsible for reviewing customer supplied data and drawings, performing design rule checks and the creation of manufacturing data, programs and tools required for the manufacture of printed circuit boards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Function Name
- Import customer data into various CAM systems.
- Perform design rule checks and edit data to comply with manufacturing guidelines.
- Create array configurations, rout and test programs, Panelization and output data for production use.
- Itemize and correspond design issues with customers.
- Receive and share knowledge in a team environment.
- Work extended hours and perform other duties based on the needs of the department and company.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary.
