Job Description
The Planning Engineer is responsible for reviewing customer-supplied data and drawings, performing design rule checks, and the creation of manufacturing data, programs, and tools required for the manufacture of printed circuit boards. She / He is also responsible for creating shop travelers using customer-provided documentation, interpreting customer and industry specifications, and reviewing customer-supplied data and past part history.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Function Name
- Import customer data into various CAM systems.
- Perform design rule checks and Plan the job using this information.
- Create array configurations,
- Create shop travelers, interpret customer-supplied documentation, and interpret industry specifications.
- Create multi-layer, impedance, blind / buried via stack-ups.
- Work with process engineers to evaluate and provide a strategy for advanced processing as needed.
- Itemize and correspond to design issues with customers using our portal.
- Must be flexible to maintain effective throughput within the department, some days may be only planning functions while some days may be strictly cam functions or any combination dependent on department backlog and scheduling demands.
- Other duties as assigned.

California Salary Range $30 - $35 hourly and benefits perks
