Under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager II, CF, the Material and Stores Supervisor II, CF is responsible for all receiving/distribution functions and floor operations at the Food Warehouse and the Support Warehouse as needed. Directly supervises Materials and Stores Supervisor I’s (M&SS I) and Heavy Truck Driver’s. Supervise the receipt, storage, issuance, and shipping of a volume of varied supplies. Supervise and work with staff in issuing items by requisition to camps or other ordering units. Oversee, train and/or provides input in Business Information System (BIS). Ensure that materials are processed on a timely basis. In charge of a large volume of equipment, and is responsible for dispatch and maintenance of control records on the movement of equipment. Supervise and/or assist with a complex operation of receiving both fresh and frozen food products, various other food products and stationary products. Coordinate the appropriate re-distribution and proper handling of these items to their point of use. Ensure all supplies are picked up or delivered and processed in accordance to the institution’s established guidelines or warehouse schedules. Supervises institution Heavy Truck Drivers and is responsible for creating monthly delivery schedules. Maintain records and files on purchase/usage of materials and supplies; maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly manner. Prevent escapes and injuries to staff and incarcerated people. Search the work environment to ensure it is free from contraband (e.g. weapons, drugs, tobacco, etc.). Maintain logs necessary for preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment. Instruct incarcerated people on proper use of equipment.

Working Conditions
The primary mission of SCC is to provide housing, programs and services for minimum and medium custody incarcerated individuals, to aid in their rehabilitation. SCC is responsible for the training and placement of male incarcerated individuals in the Conservation Camp Program. SCC administers 31 male camps located throughout California.
