Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a manufacturing client's Bookkeeper role in North Carson City, NV. This is an excellent career opportunity with an established and stable company, reporting directly to the owner as the lead accounting position at the company, overseeing a small staff. This position is on-site and not remote nor hybrid.
Responsibilities: include full cycle Accounts Payable processing and ownership, overseeing staff performing the duties in full cycle Accounts Receivable and Payroll for this 160 employee organization. Other functions include general ledger reconciliations and bank reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Hands-on coverage in Accounts Receivable and Payroll when staff is out of office or on vacation.
Monthly close and annual close processes to include the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, financial statements, tax preparation and tax filing are all duties performed by the outside CPA firm. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for working with the CPA firm to provide timely accounting data to support the CPA firm's financial reporting processes.
Requirements:
5 years of solid Bookkeeping experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Journal Entries and Reconciliation is required.
2 years supervisory experience in the Operational Accounting functions list above is required.
Work experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
Experience with Sage software products is a plus.
Known for attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness/deadline able.
Proficient in MS Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a plus but not required.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
