What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wildlife Biologist position at Sierra Forensic Consulting, Inc.?
Searching for a seasonal/on-call wildlife biologist for daily construction monitoring. Perfect position for someone who is working as an independent on-call biologist. The position is for an emergency repair project which is currently operational and will end in November. It is a part time to full time work schedule, with up to 12 hour days, and Monday through Sunday. Please see the qualification requirements below.
Professional experience with California protected species, nesting bird surveys and monitoring, MBTA, giant garter snake (GGS) ID and survey, Valley Elderberry ID, bat survey, ID, and monitoring, is preferred.
Minimum academic preferences: Bachelor's degree with knowledge of mammalogy, herpetology, ornithology, and wildlife biology. Lesser degree with wildlife certificates and professional experience may be considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 60 per week
