Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and nursing services. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the functions of the nursing and medication technicians while providing direct patient care services, including admitting clients, rounding, checking vitals, assessing withdrawal symptoms, medication audits, and passing medications to clients.
- Document in the electronic medical records in accordance with local policies and procedures, and with standards of state and federal regulations.
- Assist in developing the nursing department schedule and ensuring staffing levels are always maintained at safe levels.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited University or School of Nursing.
- Current Registered Nursing (RN) License in the State of California for 1 years.
- Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or School of Nursing.
- Supervisory experience.
- Certified to draw blood.
