Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to oversee detoxing clients and ensure that all medical processes and operations are followed and documented. The ideal candidate will be willing to undergo a drug screen, TB, and physical examination.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of patient care, overseeing licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Prepare and review medical records, nurses' notes, and evaluate resident's physical and emotional status.
- Implement nursing care according to physician orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician.
- Document all charting, record-keeping, and care plans following established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program.
