Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to join our team. As an LVN or LPT at Sierra Health and Wellness, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the recovery process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise detoxing clients and ensure all medical processes and operations are followed and documented.
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of patient care, supervise licensed and non-licensed staff.
- Prepare and review medical records, nurses' notes, and evaluate resident's physical and emotional status.
- Provide nursing care according to physician orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician.
- Sign, date, and perform all charting, record-keeping, and care plans following established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
- Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
