Our stunning inpatient facility houses 22 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff.  Our historic, remodeled mansion is located in stunning Monterey, with ocean views. Join our team to provide platinum level care.

Positions Available: 

• Full time:Tuesday-Saturday-1 position as either an Associate Therapist or Licensed Therapist 

• 2 units of supervision toward licensure,
• Associates are able to claim their full 32-40 hour workweek toward their licensure

• Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
• Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
• Works as a team member with other professionals
• Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
• Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
• Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
• Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
• Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
• Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
• Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
• Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
• Perform job duties under stressful conditions
• May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities

• Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling 
• Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences  
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License 
• Two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling (preferred, not required)

Salary:
Associate Therapist: $80,000 - $120,000  (This salary range is for 40 hours per week) 
Licensed Therapist: $96,000 - $144,000      (This salary range is for 40 hours per week)

The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.  This pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.  Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours/shifts worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs.
