Regional RN Supervisor

The Regional RN Supervisor is responsible for supporting the nursing staff at multiple sites in the greater Sacramento area. These locations treat voluntary clients seeking assistance for both drug and alcohol addiction and mental health services.

Positions available:

• Full Time: Sunday- Thursday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise other licensed and non-licensed staff in the day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Review nursing assessments performed by LVN/LPT staff to ensure accuracy and completion.
• Perform weekly and monthly auditing of nursing charting at sites and prepare reporting for QAPI meetings.
• Provide nursing care as ordered by medical providers, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and pass medications in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Sign, date and perform all charting, record keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide real-time coaching and education to nursing staff as needed.
• Practice in accordance with nursing scope and Joint Commission and California Department of Health Care Services regulations.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training of nursing department staff.
• Maintain nursing schedules at supported.
• Communicate with medical providers, local program directors, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Assists with coordinating care to outside providers, collaboration with local pharmacies, and staff pick up medications for clients in programs’ care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Travel Required:

• Ability to travel to various offices or facility locations.

Required education and experience:

• Current Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Valid California Driver’s license
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.

Salary: $135,000 - $185,000
