We've been asked to find a uniquely talented data pro for a role unlike any other you will see today. Our client is a mid-sized nonprofit in Washington DC with a very noble mission. To better achieve it, they need to use their data in new ways that's where you come in. You'll quickly learn, assess, and analyze their current data structures, then work closely with the VP of IT to design and build a new data functions that take them to the next level intelligence. You'll get into the weeds to understand the current data environment, the fly at 30,000 feet to give leaders and executives a strategic summary of how they will get from current to future state. You'll both create reports, while simultaneously beginning to build out a data program that encapsulates all data sources, implements the latest best practices, and charts the evolution (in tech and people) as your program grows
You : 5 years in a data focused role (Data Analyst, Data Manager, Data Lead, etc.) where you were hands on with tech like PowerBI, SQL (SSRS SSIS), cloud, custom apps. Despite your technical nature, you are business savvy, able to articulate tech concepts to the non tech, and you are comfortable in a board room.
Schedule : Full time, permanent position, hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week onsite in DC, 2 days per week remote.
