This role involves developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, performing cost and schedule analysis, and collaborating closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to meet contract and project requirements.
- Perform thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Provide schedule reporting to management and customers.
- Perform schedule analysis, risk mitigation, and what-if scenario planning.
- Facilitate scheduling discussions and assist technical teams in establishing and tracking project milestones.
- Develop schedules for proposals and new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Earned Value Management (EVM) System requirements.
- Apply knowledge of product development planning to establish and control the program schedule baseline; coordinate with multifunctional teams to update status for management decision making on complex programs.
- Use project scheduling software (Microsoft Project) to plan and gauge progress against the plan. Identifies performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas with the technical (engineering and operations) leads.
- Works with the program team to develop courses of action and risk mitigation strategies to address performance issues.
- Perform Schedule risk analyses and works with the department manager to resolve risky schedules, critical path issues and network logic conflicts.
- Must model desired employee and leadership behaviors.
- Must possess proven ability to successfully facilitate change.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5 years of professional related experience.
- Experience using MS Office Suite, specifically Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Scheduling experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Experience working in a Microsoft Project Server environment.
- Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools.
- Working knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processes.
