Oasis Eating Disorders Recovery is a leading outpatient treatment center in Fresno, CA, offering compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals aged 16 and older struggling with eating disorders. Our multidisciplinary team provides personalized treatment plans through Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient Psychiatry programs. Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eating disorder treatment and a passion for helping clients develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies. This role involves providing individualized nutrition counseling, developing meal plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients' recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for clients with eating disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized meal plans that align with clients' treatment goals.
- Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and facilitate nutrition education groups.
- Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and other team members to coordinate care.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and case consultations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Stay informed about current best practices in eating disorder nutrition therapy.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with eating disorder populations.
- Strong understanding of nutrition principles related to eating disorder recovery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with adolescents and young adults.
- Familiarity with evidence-based approaches such as Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES).
