Position Summary:
The El Dorado County Crisis Supervisor is responsible for guiding and supervising Mobile Crisis services and personnel for El Dorado County.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision to the crisis team, including consultation for all crisis cases that occur during business hours and remain apprised and involved in complex cases that require additional oversight.
- Attend all meetings in El Dorado County in order to maintain a successful crisis program and build positive relationships with the County and other community partners.
- Manage and oversee the completion of documentation and paperwork, including conducting routine audits and reviews to ensure timeliness and accuracy (especially with special needs cases).
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process of employees in El Dorado County (i.e., review resumes, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions).
- Coordinate and facilitate training for all Mobile Crisis employees, including onboarding training sessions for new hires and ongoing development/training for current staff as needed.
- Connect with the County and community partners to discuss parallel services, program processes, and complex cases when appropriate.
- Manage the monthly Mobile Crisis Team schedule to ensure proper coverage of all shifts per contract obligations.
- Work alongside the Payroll Department to review and approve employee timesheets and time-off requests.
- Manage employee relation items, including coaching and disciplinary action with staff and addressing concerns with HR as necessary.
- Participate in agency-wide leadership team meetings, special projects and other duties as assigned.

Schedule/Work Environment:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm; with additional after-hours support as necessary on nights/weekend
- Position Location: This position will be primarily onsite in South Lake Tahoe. Please note: this position cannot be fulfilled working remotely in another county.
- Travel: While working onsite, this position will be expected to travel to county or crisis-related meetings in the community and throughout El Dorado County.

Minimum Qualifications and Characteristics:
- Graduation from an accredited university with a minimum of a master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Possess a valid California State professional license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, OR be within six (6) months or less away from obtaining licensure.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the provision of community mental health crisis services and two (2) years of supervision of crisis services preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the direct supervision of staff.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with supervisors, direct reports, colleagues, and community partners through effective job performance and leadership.
