Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed, providing estimates of time required for repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Service Technician experience required.
- ASE Certification desirable.
- B level qualifications, including Chassis and Engine Repair.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Positive, friendly attitude and customer service mentality.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair automatic transmissions and possess knowledge of Electronic Light Duty Diesel.
