A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced HBO tech for a travel contract.
Job Requirements
The right candidate will have 2 years of experience.
May consider EMT with HTO experience.
Schedule Information
Shifts = Monday thru Friday 8 to 5, no weekends and / or holidays / and on call or standby.
Unit Specific Information
Unit : Wound Care
of patients treated = 1 to 6
Ratio = 1 to 2
Diagnosis =DM ulcers, Osteomylitis, flap / grafs, late effects of radiation
Experience = EMT / LVN / CHT
Area of coverage = Outpatient wound clinic & Hyperbaric Oxygen
Floating = only in the department if there are no HBOT patients, then would function as medical assistant / LVN / EMT assisting RNs in vital signs, wound measurements, room cleaning & prep, wound care, wound photographs
Scrubs = green
Additional Details
For Holiday RTO : Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years).
Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed.
Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling.
