We are looking for a bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our team in the Nipomo office and provide excellent customer service to our patients. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a variety of tasks, such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and answering phones. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories.
- Collect patient information, including insurance information, for billing purposes.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, and process referrals.
- Provide general information about the practice, services, and rheumatology treatments.
- Cross-train in Medical Assisting to help as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the physician.
Qualifications:
- Medical office receptionist experience is a plus.
- Bilingual Required - English and Spanish
- EMR proficient
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Team player and multitasker.
- BLS Certification a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
