Job Description
As a Dispatcher your primary role is to delegate, schedule and route our Service Technicians. Dispatcher tracks field technician work location, equipment, and work status; monitors scheduled service appointments and helps anticipate dispatching decisions throughout the workday. Dispatcher works closely with the whole customer service team and shares information regarding service time frame, appointment availability, delays, or special instructions.
The position is fast-paced, and requires the individual to be able to transfer attention from one duty to the next quite often, while possessing sound judgment to find solutions for any challenges. Position is on site.
Responsibilities
- Routing Service Technicians, and scheduling efficiently with a high-level attention to detail
- Call by Call Dispatching to ensure Service Technician has completed all tasks
- Communicate with clients with updates on parts, scheduling, appointment confirmations and follow up phone calls
- Ask high level qualifying questions to clients to setup field technicians for success in the field
- If needed, help out the Customer Service call center with incoming calls
- Scheduling and Routing Prepaid Maintenances
Qualifications
- Experience as a dispatcher for 1 years desired
- Be a strong team player
- Able to make quick decisions in a fast phase environment.
- Strong attendance record
- Desire to exceed customer's expectations
- Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting up to 50 lbs
