Currently, we are seeking a qualified Building Maintenance person to perform general maintenance and other various projects throughout our main office building located in Anderson, California.

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $19 and $27 per hour, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.

About The Position
- Perform various projects and general maintenance throughout a large office building
- Maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, security systems, and painting
- Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment and systems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption
- Monitor and coordinate subcontractor services including janitorial services and security
- Proactively test and troubleshoot various issues (electric, plumbing, fixtures, valves, water lines, locks, etc.) to assess function and recommend repair or replacement
- Coordinate and schedule building maintenance and repair with other departments and contractors
- Report maintenance or safety concerns
- Participate in routine inspections (fire alarms, elevator, HVAC, commercial kitchen, etc.)
- Maintain and stock appropriate levels of supplies, parts, tools, and equipment
- Interact with co-workers, managers, or vendors to effectively convey information and to give or receive work direction
- Understand and follow safe and efficient work practices
- Perform on-call service requests and emergency calls
- 2 years' related large building maintenance experience with good work references
- Working experience with HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Knowledge of general construction trades and methods
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and effectively repair mechanical defects
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision, and well organized
