What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Inspector position at Sierra Proto Express?
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
The QA Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying completed Printed Circuits (PCB) to ensure that the customer’s specifications are met. He/she will implement an AQL level of inspection to ensure all quality aspects are met for every job or project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Function Name
- Visual inspection under magnification on printed circuit boards.
- Identify quality defects to conformance specs and complete reject report (NCMR).
- Obtain FAI report and packaging requirements before moving the order to shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Perform final count of acceptable parts and sign traveler.
- Complete the first article report / or AS91002 report.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:
- Read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required.
- Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
- Ability to understand and follow directions when inspecting printed circuit boards.
- Basic understanding of prints and specifications, ability to complete FAI reports and communication via email with customer inquiries.
- Moderate physical lifting of up to 20-Ibs
- Some out-of-department in-process inspection.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary.

California Salary Range: $20 - $33 per hour & Benefits Perks.
Monday - Saturday
Must be flexible.
AM Shift or PM Shift.
