- The specialist is responsible for all aspects of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) rework.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rework Specialist:
- All aspects of rework including but not limited to solder mask touch-up, welding of opens.
- Removal of shorts, gold brush plating, soldering, etc.
- Operating AOI equipment for inner layer, outer layer, dry film, and final inspection.
- Read, understand and follow customer’s drawings, specifications and requirements as they apply to assembly projects.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position is swing shift.
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management
- Self-motivator and a sense of ownership and urgency.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality & professionalism at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
- Read, write and communicate in English.
- Basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required.
- Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
- Ability to understand and follow directions when inspecting printed circuit boards.
- Preferred but not required 2 years of experience in PCB industry.
- Basic understanding of prints and specifications, ability to complete FAI reports and communicate via email with customer inquiries.
- Moderate physical lifting of up to 30-Ibs
- Some out of department in-process inspection.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary.
Salary : $25 - $30
