SALES TECHNICAL SUPPORT TRAINEE

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
The Sales Technical Support (Trainee) will be responsible for retrieving jobs from Sierra Circuits, Inc.’s website and initiating them through the Check-In process via FEMS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Input customer specifications into Sierra Circuits, Inc.’s FEMS database in a timely manner, while escalating any issues to the Planning/CAM Supervisor/Sales department concerning file validation, file compatibility, and any other potential issues that are out of the CQ Check-In process.
- Receive and sort customer Gerber files, initiate R# in FEMS database, re-format, and send to CQ-India/CQ-US.
- Prioritize jobs based on turn-time and complexity.
- Print all associated paperwork & drawings to transfer to Sales department.
- Deliver customer packet/Part Data form to Sales after validation of data.
- Meet and/or exceed daily departmental goals, which are set by the customer website.
- Assist the CQ department staff with various administrative assignments.
- Respect others, their space and personal Other duties as assigned.
- Assist with planning and implementing company functions
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Associates degree in related fields or high school diploma.
- No experience is okay.
- Knowledge in the Printed Circuit Board industry and/or Planning/PCB Prototyping a plus.
- Excellent computer skills: WindowsOS, Microsoft: Excel/Word/Outlook, and File Transfer Protocol with the ability to learn new skills and tasks as required, especially as they relate to computer software
- Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
- Good mathematics aptitude and very detail-oriented.
- Ability to read and understand Fabrication Drawings a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a professional demeanor within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in providing good customer service and in aiding the sales process.
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary.

California salary range: $20-$25 per hour with Benefits and Perks.
