Join our Sierra Ranch Veterinary Clinic & Pet Rehabilitation Team! We are a two-doctor practice, fast pace, and growing quickly! We are seeking a part-time or full-time RVT who can work Fridays and Saturdays. We are looking for applicants willing to work in a team setting with a positive attitude. A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are a must. You must have previous experience working in the veterinary field. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Assistant doctors with appointments
- Assisting Technician appointments
- Obtain temperature, pulse, and respiration (TPR) measurements and maintain medical records
- Basic Veterinary Assistant Skills: including restraint, SQ, IM, IV injections.
- Medical terminology
- Blood draws, IV Cath placement
- Drug Calculations and filling prescriptions
- Managing hospitalized patients
- Educating clients - informing clients about vaccines, medications and how to administer them, follow-up care, etc.
- Performing diagnostics (radiographs, lab work, preparing slides for cytology, ultrasound guided cystocentesis)
- Monitoring anesthesia and sedation for procedures and surgery
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Stocking supplies
- Laser Therapy experience is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $23-28/per hour

Qualifications
- Must have a current license as a registered veterinary technician obtained from an accredited program and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Must be self-motivated, have great customer service skill sand have the ability to understand time management to be able to prioritize effectively
