We are hiring-A Director of Resident Care!
The Resident Care Director is responsible for the overall supervision, provision, and quality of care and supportive services in Memory Care. Responsible for the selection, training, discipline and supervision for all care staff and Med Aids. Assures proper staffing according to regulations and able to fill in when needed to provide care to residents. Will directly report to the Director of Health and Wellness and Executive Director.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all residents are evaluated prior to residency or with the change of condition to ensure services are delivered.
- Communicate with residents, family, and staff on an as-needed basis to meet resident needs.
- Screen, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all Care Partner staff and activity staff in the Specified Care Area.
- Complete care staff schedules to assure proper coverage to meet resident needs according to budget.
- Assist the Director of Health and Wellness in medication management.
- Participate in the maintenance of resident records including review of documentation performed by resident assistants, monthly MAR reviews, setting up the new residents, and thinning records appropriately.
- Participate in community functions including family socials and open houses.
- Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.
- Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements:
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
- 2 years of experience in assisted living
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have proven management experience and the ability to manage staff.
- 2 years experience with medication pass and certification as Med Aide as required by state law.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and e-mail (Microsoft Outlook or Exchange).
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Preferred: Director of Resident Care
- An associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a field related to the position.
