Job Summary
A new division, of an established aerospace company, is looking to add a dedicated Machine Rolling Mill Operator to join our team at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the production environment. This role will be cross trained in all areas and support the facility
where needed.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt. Typical days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday 5am-3pm. On a workload basis this position may require additional scheduled days and hours.
DUTIES:
Job duties include but are not limited to,
- Loading and unloading of the re-heat furnaces in order to hot roll, anneal, or level Titanium plate and sheet products. This must be done in a thoughtful and safe manner and with the assistance of a rolling mill helper, in order to yield a quality product.
- Responsible for maintaining part traceability through the completion of various logs and part followers.
- Assist in completion of roll changes and any PM or repair activities where the maintenance staff requires help.
- Reading and interpretation of rolling work orders.
- Proper PPE and other mill safety related to crane, electrical, heat and fire.
- Part measurements and how to adjust when values are out of spec.
- Leveler operation.
In addition to basic roll mill operation the operator will learn the following skills or abilities. Reading and interpretation of rolling work orders. · Must be able to closely follow instructions and reading documents.
· Must be able to communicate, verbally and written, with managers and coworkers.
· Must maintain quality practices and safety standards.
· Must be able to lift 50lbs
· Forklift
· Must be able to work overtime as required.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
