The ideal candidate will maintain and optimize the Workday platform, support internal stakeholders, and ensure seamless human capital management (HCM) processes. This role is integral in improving HR and business operations through data insights and technical solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to design and implement Workday solutions that align with business objectives.
- Configure, test, and deploy Workday modules, including HCM, payroll, benefits, time tracking, and absence management.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide end-user support for Workday-related inquiries and technical challenges.
- Conduct system audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on Workday releases and recommend process improvements or system upgrades.
- Train and educate stakeholders on Workday functionality and best practices.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience, 2-3 years, as a Workday Analyst or in a similar role, with expertise in Workday HCM or other Workday modules.
- 3-4 years of strong functional and technical experience in two or more of the following modules within the Workday HCM Suite: HCM Core, Data Analytics, Recruiting, Payroll/ Absence, Talent & Performance, Adaptive Planning, and Peakon.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, workflows, business process design, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and configuration capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven relationship building and collaboration skills.
- Ability to look beyond current issues and prepare and plan for long term solutions that support business vision and objectives.
- High degree of competency with product and project management skills.
- Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and business/IT partner collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to perceive patterns and relationships between technologies, processes, and business models, in order to create original concepts and theories, and to think creatively.
- Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM Certified) are a plus.
