About the Role
If you are a seasoned subcontracts management professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team!As a Subcontracts Management Specialist III, you'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts.
Additionally, you'll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (CR) Fixed-Fee, through the entire contract lifecycle, and will participate and lead moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience; higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Procurement or Subcontracts Administrative roles, experience in leading Subcontracts and leading or member of Subcontract Management Teams
Ability to lead projects & teams to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures associated with FAR / DFAR requirements and TINA.
Strong organization and communication skills are required.
Working knowledge of various contracting types (Firm Fixed, Price, Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Award Fee, T&M, etc.)
Experience with SAP based procurement system.
Experience managing supplier relationships and cross functional teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated communication, negotiation, presentation and documentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of software.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
