What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector (QA Inspector) position at Sierra Staffing Group?
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our client's QA team. Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, performs in-process inspection and final inspection of manufactured products as well as returned products (RMA's).
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Based on documented company, customer, and regulatory requirements, performs and/or supports multiple in-process and final inspections of products manufactured by company including PCBAs and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform quality audits to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
- Documents and processes nonconforming product.
- Performs and documents product disposition and transfer of products between departments.
- Reviews and files inspection data and documentation.
- Coordinates quality inspections and product transfers with area leads as well as shipping based on priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of one year experience in inspection or quality control
- Experience with electronics manufacturing/inspection
- IPC-610 certification (CIS) preferred
- Self-motivated, high energy level
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
