Sierra Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Pump Technician for a well established and growing Water Well Drilling and Pump company located in the Northern Nevada Area. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, daily communication with customers, and lead challenging projects across Nevada and California.
This position is located in Reno, NV and provides for relocation assistance.
Job Responsibilities :
- Installation and removal : Install and remove submersible and vertical turbine pumps; understand system configuration, assembly sequence, and key features of the pump system. Utilize heavy equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
- Pump tests : Conduct pump and well performance tests requiring monitoring and evaluation of well discharge metering. Collect and document detailed performance data in handwritten or digital spreadsheets.
- Troubleshooting issues : Troubleshoot basic pump performance issues. Includes understanding pump mechanics, assembly / disassembly of components, electrical controls including use of a multimeter verify electrical supply power. Evaluate and determine next steps for repair or replacement and communicate with supervisor.
