Heavy Highway Civil Project Manager for New Mexico

We are seeking a motivated and Heavy Highway Civil Project Manager to oversee New Mexico DOT projects.

STARTING PAY $100,000 to $130,000 annually (based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years in the construction industry
• Must have prior project experience as Project Manager on civil projects $3M
• Must have good references from: previous Owner & Employer
• Must be a resident of the United States
• Must have prior experience as a Project Manager; processing RFI’s, submittals, etc

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
including but not limited to:

• Attend and participate in various meetings
• Perform material and quantity takeoffs
• Solicit material quotes and proposals
• Review and comprehend construction drawings
• Review and comprehend soil reports
• Prepare project submittals
• Review and comprehend contracts
• Prepare subcontracts
• Prepare change orders
• Prepare project schedule
• Applying for and secure permits
• Identify risks and problems
• Develop and provide possible solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Proficient with AGTEK, AUTOCAD, HCSS and similar software
• Must be comfortable interacting with individuals from all levels of the company
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
• Regular, reliable attendance

· Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
