JOB SUMMARY
Assists the Production Control Manager with tasks related to production planning and scheduling in order to meet the company’s delivery commitments. Part-time (20 hours per week).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (But not limited to the following)
- Assists with creating and publishing weekly schedules such as machine shop priorities.
- Assist with launching work orders in ERP to production and reschedules as needed.
- Provides support with facilitating dispatch priorities in conjunction with production.
- Communicates with Production Control Manager regarding order schedules, delays.
- Collaborates with Engineering and Quality department to move parts from MRP and resolve any holds. This may include coordinating the split of work orders and adding rework operations to work orders when necessary.
- Assist with expediting work orders through production to support monthly shipment commitments.
- Generate tracking/ status reports for hot parts.
- Scanning documentation to Laserfiche.
- Performs other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Can do Attitude.
- Well versed in Microsoft applications; intermediate level proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Attention to detail (Reports, Schedules, MRP, etc.).
- Must be organized, able to keep workstation and documentations, emails, etc. in orderly fashion.
- Ability to work positively and constructively in a team environment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The role requires a presence on the shop floor a minimum of 25% to be effective.
Salary : $18 - $20
