About The Position
The Guest Relations Transportation Coordinator, reporting to the Guest Relations Manager, manages all ground transportation for all invited guests, as well as managing volunteer drivers and GR office volunteers.
Dates of Employment: April 28 - May 30, 2025
Compensation: Hourly. $21/hr.
Reports to: Festival Guest Relations Manager
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule all ground transportation for invited guests in collaboration with Filmmaker Services
- Oversee onboarding and scheduling of all volunteer drivers and airport concierges
- Manage public transportation tickets and information
- Collect all information from drivers for SIFF vehicle insurance
- Oversee parking, gas and insurance needs for all rental vehicles
- Work closely with all SIFF guests to ensure that their festival experience is superb.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two – three years experience in management or oversight of team members
- Knowledge of best practices for accommodating and scheduling ground transportation
- Community arts, festival and/or non-profit experience is a plus
- Keen attention to details, a love for excel spreadsheets, and a disposition for a fair amount of screen time in front of a computer
- Comfortable with MAC computers; experience with Filemaker Pro database and/or Shiftboard scheduling software is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and social justice
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact with patrons and coworkers, sit and stand for extended periods of time, physically assist patrons when needed, and lift up to 25 pounds.
