We are seeking a mid-level IT Specialist with 7-10 years of experience and expertise in Microsoft 365 and cloud-based tools to enhance staff productivity, provide application support, deliver training, and manage vendor relationships. This role requires exceptional communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Additionally, this position will provide general helpdesk and hardware support (10-15% of the time) as needed to ensure smooth IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate, Outlook, etc.).
- Research and implement best practices for maximizing efficiency using Microsoft 365 and cloud tools.
- Ensure seamless integration, accessibility, and security of cloud-based applications.
- Conduct engaging training sessions and workshops to enhance staff adoption of Microsoft 365 and IT tools.
- Provide clear and effective technical support to resolve software and application-related issues.
- Develop user-friendly documentation, FAQs, and guides for self-service support.
- Serve as an IT liaison, bridging the gap between technical teams and end users.
- Manage invoices and vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee software licensing, contracts, and procurement of IT software tools.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate improvements and renewals.
- Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and data protection within Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms.
- Assist in access control, policy enforcement, and security monitoring.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and network-related issues.
- Assist with device setup, configuration, and maintenance (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).
- Support basic network connectivity issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Work with IT teammates to ensure efficient ticket resolution and end-user satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of IT experience, preferably in a mid-sized or enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.).
- Experience with cloud services, SaaS applications, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of IT support, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
- Vendor management experience, including contract negotiation and procurement.
- Basic experience with hardware troubleshooting and end-user support.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills—able to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to lead initiatives and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about helping staff leverage IT tools effectively.
- Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-900, MS-700, or equivalent).
- PowerShell or automation scripting experience.
- Basic networking knowledge and ITIL framework familiarity.

Salary range: $130,000-$150,000
