Warehouse Operator – Level 2
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Tends to duties for shipping and receiving including but not limited to staging packing containers, inspecting product, and traffic coordination. Backup for this position will be Warehouse Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an at-will employer, SIG (formerly Scholle IPN) reserves the right to add to or modify this list to the extent it deems necessary.
- Maintain a valid forklift license.
- Perform Forklift inspections.
- Inspect trailers & properly document.
- Properly load & unload trailers.
- Safely bale recyclable materials & load onto trailer.
- Ability to prepare for inventory.
- Trial material procedures.
- Maintain 5S & cleaning schedule records.
- Ability to safely move and stack finished materials in locations.
- Understands FIFO (First In First Out)
- Adheres to FIFO
- Actively participates in Safety, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) initiatives based on plant goals and requirements.
- Ability to use barcoding system.
- Other duties as assigned
YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or G.E.D required.
- SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime.
- Ability to read ruler and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units or measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequently standing, walking and sitting.
- Frequently required the use of hands to finger, feel, reach or handle machinery.

- Moderate working conditions.
- Exposure to variable noise levels.
