The Compositor is a creative media artist capable of seamlessly integrating CG assets, matte paintings, and live-action footage into a single moving image, known as a shot. Responsible for matching each layer in terms of light and shadow, color and grading, perspective, and depth, while also ensuring each shot maintains continuity within its sequence to create inspiring and immersive media content. Capable of bridging communication across multiple Artists to build digital media from conception through the execution of a live theater show or film. This role is fully on-site.
Works in collaboration with the Artistic Directors, Media Designer, Animator, and Artists by taking different digital elements like the animations, background plates, graphics, and video effects (VFX) to create final compositions of a frame, shot, or sequence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Composite digital assets from various Artists into cutting-edge media that considers continuity of color, lighting, form, and style to achieve the cinematic quality of visual effects sequences.
- Works collaboratively with the Producer, Artistic Directors, Media Designer, and Artists to bring together visual effects work : set or scene extension, keying, cg integration, rig removal, matte painting, screen replacement, paint outs, tracking, and roto.
