The Laundry Technician position provides cleaning for all Wardrobe properties and perform minor alterations as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent service to all customers including Cast, Stage Management, Producers, Costumes, and other team members to help ensure that all laundry needs are met.
- Perform daily laundering, ironing, minor repairs to show costumes and accessories.
- Return all properties to their designated locations in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in schedule 1 on 1 and departmental team meetings.
- All other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites :
Education and / or Experience : Minimum Bachelor's degree and / or 2 years theatrical laundering preferred. Ability to hand sew and operate a sewing machine, required.
