The Accounting Clerk serves Sight & Sound stakeholders by providing timely and accurate processing and reporting of financial and other business transactions with integrity and excellence.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Process transactions relating to, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and general ledger. This may include recording, reporting, reconciling, analyzing, and problem-solving.
- Ensure policies and compliance standards are consistently followed and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Provide and maintain positive and effective communications and customer service.
- Provide assistance and support as assigned to other areas within the Finance department.
- Understanding of basic accounting knowledge and principles
- Knowledge of computerized accounting software and Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where a high level of accuracy is required
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Ability to discreetly handle confidential information
