Medical Assistant/Patient Care Coordinator

Comprehensive Ophthalmology Office in Gig Harbor, WA

We are currently looking for full-time clinical staff member to join our team. Our staff help fulfill our mission to provide the very best care and experience for patients and their families.

This position also has the opportunity for the right individual to be trained as an Ophthalmic Technician which can grow into a prosperous career. The right individual would be provided onsite training as well as support in pursuing a Ophthalmic Technician Certification.

This position is for an entry level clinical team member that would help as needed with various duties, including, but not limited to:

• Rooming and initial patient intake
• Assisting in basic office procedures, clean and sterilizing equipment, stocking rooms
• Ordering of medical and office supplies
• Scheduling, registration and patient communication

Preferred:

• 3 years customer service based role or minimum 2 year college degree
• Open to consideration of equivalent mix of education and clinical medical experience

Wage is determined by experience and skill level. Higher compensation is available for more experienced clinical medical background.
