Sigma Defense is seeking a Test Automation / DevOps Engineer to provide the government with support to a Navy software factory. The FORGE is a modernization effort to deliver cutting-edge software development practices, DevSecOps, and technologies to the Fleet.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in testing infrastructure as code (IaC), services, API and applications. There is a heavy emphasis on modern practices such as leveraging containerization in both production and development environments for full-stack application and services. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tests for our Platform as a Service (PaaS).

Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
- Ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, to identify testing requirements.
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
- Experience with WebApps and Services, CI / CD, and Kubernetes is preferred.

Salary Range : $80,000 - $115,000 annually.
