Primary Function:
Design and evaluate electronic systems: produce and review design documentation.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
- Electronics Engineering: requirements assessment, embedded system architecture, component selection, design, simulation, review, schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing and assembly support, debug, test, and written reports and documentation
- Utilize a variety of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools (based on customer demand) to capture schematics, lay out PCBAs, generate fabrication and assembly release packages, etc
- Operate as the sole electronics engineer on cross-functional engineering project teams: demonstrate confidence and technical competence to both internal and external Customers
- Communicate directly or indirectly with customers in person or remotely (via phone, teleconference or email) to clarify requirements and concerns, provide project status updates
- Design and analyze electronic devices to global standards and regulations, including (but not limited to) those for safety and electromagnetic compatibility
- Follow department guidelines, standards, and processes, including the execution and facilitation of mandatory design reviews
- Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group

- Pass a post-offer background verification
