POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Packaging Category Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with regional BradyPLUS sales associates and play a pivotal role in leading a cross-selling initiative driving growth and market penetration within BradyPLUS market segments. This position requires an individual with expertise and thought leadership in industrial packaging marketing, a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and a strategic mindset to develop and execute effective go-to market strategies with regional distributors. You will collaborate closely with category teams, supplier partners, and sales leadership to ensure alignment and support for BradyPLUS growth objectives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Industrial Packaging Expertise and Thought Leadership:
Through sales and customer engagements, provide expert guidance and product solutions to support growth initiatives within the packaging and equipment category.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences to drive packaging innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Understanding of Customer Needs and Market Trends:
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors within different segments through visits, industry events, or regional customers shows and expositions.
Conduct industry research and analysis through location assessments to identify opportunities for suggestions leading to a healthier, safer, cleaner, and more productive facility for our customers.
Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
Working with BradyPLUS distributors, Category, and Supplier Partners, develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies and programs leading to packaging category growth and cross-selling of products into other market segments.
Collaborate with Sales, Category, and local sales leaders to ensure alignment of marketing efforts of our Elite, Preferred, and Select suppliers.
Exclusive Brand Support:
“Write the script” for our STRANFLEX exclusive brand and coordinate the marketing efforts for STRANFLEX as well as BradyPLUS exclusive brands within the participating business units ensuring strong brand positioning and market presence, and user adoption.
Working with our Exclusive Brand Suppliers, develop and implement branding strategies to differentiate exclusive brands from competitors and drive brand loyalty.
Marketing Coordination with Key Suppliers and Marketing Operations:
Collaborate with key suppliers, including Elite Partners to develop joint marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns ensuring the right messaging and positions based on regional business units.
Working with Marketing Operations, ensure availability of appropriate co-branded literature, marketing emails, and shop.envoysolutions.com content.
Engagement with Sales RVPs and GMs:
Work closely with regional sales leadership, including Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and General Managers (GMs), to understand their market dynamics and customer priorities, and offer solutions that align with the BradyPLUS growth goals.
Help align branding and marketing initiatives, including introducing the appropriate programs and solutions at regional sales meetings, sales webinars, or customer events.
Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
