What You Will Do:
Your role will be working under the direction of the Sigma Science Senior Program Manager. The position performs:
- Oversight of M&O contractor’s project control system implementation.
- Tracks subproject performance relative to budget and schedule.
- Evaluates proposed baseline change proposals, evaluates project monthly reports for project controls-related sensitivities.
- Identifies emerging project issues based on evaluation of contractor data.
- Combine departmental and contract companies schedules and set up earned value tracking and resource tracking in the schedules.
- Prepare monthly reports on work accomplishments, SPI & CPI of the work performed.
- Monitor cost on a weekly basis and alert the CM of variances.
- Prepare estimates of work to be performed by the direct hire construction craft and load the Resources in the Project Schedule.
- Experience preferred - PowerBI or other data analytics tools including databases and dashboard development
What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years field project controls engineering/construction oversight/monitoring
- experience on large (greater than $10M) construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera/P6, MS Project and MS Office Suite.
- Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a DOE/NNSA “Q” Clearance
