Sigmatech is seeking highly motivated maintenance and operations professionals to accomplish configuration management for Orbital Warfare operational units at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. In this position, the contractor will support the 3rd Space Operations Squadron in accomplishing the following tasks :
- Facilitate and coordinate the squadron's Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
- Scheduling CCBs
- Preparing packages
- Routing for review
- Tracking status
- Developing continuity material
- Assist the government customer in the facilitation of baseline documentation
- Produce system architecture drawings
- Rack drawings
- Floor plans
- Infrastructure
- HVAC
- Electrical power consumption
- Represent the customer in sustainment working groups
- Assist the government customer in submittal of support requests (Civil Engineering, Comm Squadron, etc)
- Track Configuration Management process improvements
- Conduct Physical Configuration Audits
Desired 10 years working space-based infrastructure support. B.S. in related field. Additional education and / or certifications in lieu of experience will be considered.
Microsoft Suite to include Access and Excel. Other applicable database tracking software. CAD experience (Design Review / AutoCAD, Visio, Phoenix).
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
Ability to lead and facilitate working groups, manage action items, and provide accurate assessments / notes
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education / training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
